Why you need a professional, specialist translator.

A good set of subtitles or smooth voiceover script will ensure you get your message across as you intended - and could be the difference between audiences loving, hating or just being indifferent to your work.

If your content is informational, it could be the difference between getting your audience’s full attention and understanding, and not really engaging them so your message gets lost or misunderstood.

Translation is not simply pushing a button to switch one set of Japanese vocabulary to “equivalent” English. Subtitling in particular requires editing down to fit time and screen space limitations, but any translation calls for cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity to the kind of work being translated in addition to superior English language writing skills in a range of genres.

  • who researches thoroughly to ensure accuracy without cutting corners
